Follow up to our Quarterly presentation two weeks back, we had shared the recording to you in our previous episode. We hope you were able to listen to our views and updates.

This week we had decided to highlight one of a unique characteristics of our portfolio. We mentioned that we do not hug any benchmark and evaluating our funds on quarterly or half yearly basis with the benchmark would not be an apt comparison to do. What we would like to highlight here is that at any point in time, a three year return of the portfolio has out-beaten the benchmark consistently. The below chart depicts the same on a rolling 3 Year return.

In the call, Naveen had also emphasized the importance of our Capital Call and we would like to re-iterate some key points on why we do it-

  1. Capital Calls are an important aspect of generating alpha in a client’s portfolio
  2. We call for capital once or maximum twice a year
  3. Adding capital during periods of underperformance creates significant outperformance over a 3Y period

Why are Capital Calls Important_img1

We will continue to cover more aspects of our quarterly call in detail over the next episode.
